This Day — 4.10.13

So today, this happened… Note the kid in the middle of the shot, next to the adult with purple jersey in hand…

Echo had her very first ever soccer practice. (!) She’s signed up with the local Y league and is super-stoked to be giving team sports a shot. Today when we actually got to practice she was pretty sure she was over the whole idea, but a few minutes of Mom joining with her in the drills and she was loving it.

Here she is, “Huckleberry” jersey and all, doing some fancy foot-work in front of Mom and sis’.

Xi, for her part, also had a pretty awesome 4.10.13. She was pleased to be sporting some new stylee threads.

She and I got to go full-tilt on the playground during Echo’s soccer practice. This is a cool newer playground at the local elementary — one we hadn’t yet really tried out!

And last but certainly not least, she got to meet, and hold for her first time, our new village member Selah, born one week ago (just in time to celebrate her Mom’s birthday today…).That’s just a little twinkle of today’s total awesomeness. Hope you’ve had and/or are having a stellar day, too.

Be well.
