Seems like there’s been some blog-buzz lately, including from me, about remembering the yesterdays that have sped by like a red Ferrari on an open straightaway. This was a great yesterday for us — Xi’s 4th birthday. Echo was still new. Bella still had Halloween black hair. I was still shaved-headed. And we all got dressed in our fancies and went to Xi’s favorite splash park, known simply as the Turtles. We had friends come, and we had decorate-your-own cupcakes, and we all played in the cool spray from the turtles, and warmed ourselves on the hot sidewalk. It was a delicious day to be sure.

Hope you’re all enjoying your days, and fond remembrance of yesterdays as well.

Be well.

We’re back from the beach (it’s raining heavily) but while we were there, each day, on some new adventure (simple mostly) I announced…these are the good old days. We’re creating memories for every day. It’s true.

Beautiful family, Nathan. And a wonderful memory to remind yourself of. Thanks for reminding me to slow down & pay attention to all the little details…
    Have a great weekend!
