It’s a new day, friends.
You may have blown it hugely yesterday. You may have done or said your parenting worst. You may have acted in such a way that you think your parenting license should be revoked. You may have done the things you’ve said you never want to do. You may have gotten angry and made decisions that were not in honour of your relationship with your child(ren). You may have been the big nasty seething beast trampling feelings everywhere you went. You may have been a real ass.
But all of that is gone today. And whatever chance you have to rectify that/those action(s) is staring you in the face right now. This is the moment for you. This is the precipice. This is the opportunity of a lifetime. If you want to change anything about what you did, are doing, or will do, the time is yours.
May I encourage you this morning to DO IT. Whatever the IT is for you: whether it is cleaning up yesterday’s mess, or rededicating yourself to your chosen path, or making a choice to change your future – don’t let another day go by without planting both feet and diving in. We are all standing on our own proverbial precipices looking out over the things we wish for ourselves and our children, and now is the precise instant for us to leap. With wings full of faith and promise and commitment, it is our time to fly.
Good journey, friends. And be well.
